چکیده

A recently proposed Non-Standard Model solution to the problem of low semileptonic branching ratio BSL which suggests a large branching ratio for the decay b → sg is critically examined. It is shown that the effects of the Enhanced Chromomagnetic Dipole Operator might lead to significant violations of isospin symmetry in rare radiative decays of B-mesons. Typeset using REVTEX 1 It has been recently proposed that effects of New Physics associated with the gluonic dipole operator [1] provide an elegant and simple solution to the problem of low semileptonic branching ratio of B-mesons BSL simultaneously solving the problem of charm multiplicity nc. In these models, New Physics particles (e.g. techniscalars or supersymmetric particles) running inside of the penguin diagram loop significantly modify (increase) the Wilson coefficient C11 in front of the gluonic dipole operator O11 = gs 16π mbs̄σ μν 1 2 (1 − γ5)tbGμν in the effective Hamiltonian Heff = 4GF √ 2 [ VcbVcs(C1(μ)Oi(μ)C2(μ)O2(μ))− VtbV ∗ ts ∑

The role of electroweak penguin and magnetic dipole QCD penguin on hadronic b Quark Decays

This research, works with the effective Hamiltonian and the quark model. Using, the decay rates of matter-antimatter of b quark was investigated. We described the effective Hamiltonian theory which was applied to the calculation of current-current (Q1,2), QCD penguin (Q3,…,6), magnetic dipole (Q8) and electroweak penguin (Q7,…,10) decay rates. The gluonic penguin structure of hadronic decays ...

Effective Hamiltonian of Electroweak Penguin for Hadronic b Quark Decays

In this research we work with the effective Hamiltonian and the quark model. We investigate the decay rates of matter-antimatter of quark. We describe the effective Hamiltonian theory and apply this theory to the calculation of current-current ( ), QCD penguin ( ), magnetic dipole ( ) and electroweak penguin ( ) decay rates. The gluonic penguin structure of hadronic decays is studied thro...

An analysis of two - body non - leptonic B decays involving light mesons in the Standard Model

We report a theoretical analysis of the exclusive non-leptonic decays of the B and B mesons into two light mesons, some of which have been measured recently by the CLEO collaboration. Our analysis is carried out in the context of an effective Hamiltonian based on the Standard Model (SM), using next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations. We explicitly take into account the O(αs) penguin...

Isospin Breaking in B → K∗γ Decays

A calculation of the leading isospin-breaking contributions to the B → K∗γ decay amplitudes based on the QCD factorization approach is presented. They arise at order Λ/mb in the heavy-quark expansion and are due to annihilation contributions from 4-quark operators, the chromo-magnetic dipole operator, and charm penguins. In the Standard Model the decay rate for B̄0 → K̄∗0γ is predicted to be abou...

The Chromomagnetic Dipole Operator and the B Semileptonic Branching Ratio

We consider the possibility of having a large branching ratio for the decay b → sg coming from an enhanced Wilson coefficient of the chromomagnetic dipole operator. We show that values of BR(b → sg) up to ∼ 10% or more are compatible with the constraints coming from the CLEO experimental results on BR(B → Xsγ) and BR(B → Xsφ). Such large values can reconcile the predictions of both the semilept...
